What does Spring Thread® lifting involve?
Before your Spring Thread® lifting treatment, Dr Kathryn will conduct a thorough assessment to determine the ideal placement of the threads for optimal results. This assessment includes marking the entry and exit points of the threads and mapping out their precise path.
To prepare for the procedure, your skin will be carefully sterilised, and if needed, your hair may be secured out of the way. Dr Kathryn may redraw the guidelines after the final cleanse to ensure accuracy during the treatment.
During the procedure, tiny punctures are made near the temples or behind the ears. The Spring Threads are then gently inserted just beneath the top layer of the skin using a soft, blunt needle. Once all the threads are in place, they are carefully tightened to lift the facial tissues, and the ends are trimmed.
The entire process is minimally invasive, leaving no residual scarring. The treatment is completed in a relatively short time, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of a rejuvenated appearance without the need for extensive downtime.
