The science

How does The Perfect Peel work?

Your journey to radiant skin begins with a thorough consultation at Real You Clinic, where Dr Kathryn will assess your skin and customise your treatment plan. During The Perfect Peel treatment, the solution is applied to your skin, allowing the active ingredients to penetrate deeply and target problem areas. The procedure is quick and minimally invasive, typically taking just 15-30 minutes.

After the peel, you may experience some redness and peeling, which usually resolves within a week. As your skin heals, you’ll notice a significant improvement in texture, tone, and overall radiance.

SKIN PEEL FOR ACNE

Remove acne with the Perfect Peel, our new skin peel for acne is a synergistic blend of 6 acids, vitamins, minerals and the mother of all antioxidants, glutathione.

“Even on day one, my skin was dryer, tighter and blemishes were diminished. Days 2 and 3 were not bad at all. Days 4-6, I peeled but I moisturised and kept everything under control. I am so pleased with the results after peeling. My acne is under control now, thank God! Scars and spots are faded and I have a dewy glow. I even look tan. My skin looks so much better. I am a fan for sure!!”

5-acid Blended Peel with Glutathione, Vitamins and Minerals

The Perfect Peel founds itself on a key anti-ageing ingredient never before used in a peel: Glutathione. Glutathione is the ultimate antioxidant, penetrating deep into the cellular level of the skin to fight oxidant damage and is the anti-ageing answer to premature wrinkling. Our bodies naturally produce glutathione but as we age, our levels deplete due to sun exposure, air pollutants, environmental stress and the ageing process itself. Glutathione is also proven to reverse melanin’s metabolism, lightening dark pigmentations.

The Perfect Peel blends glutathione, kojic acid, TCA, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol, and a blend of minerals and vitamins, including vitamin C. Kojic acid is a powerful lightening agent and proven to increase collagen and elastin production, resulting in skin that is brighter and tighter. TCA, phenol and retinoic acid reduce wrinkles and correct pigment problems, while salicylic acid exfoliates the skin and reduces inflammation. Alone the ingredients are powerful, but when combined they produce results that are astonishing.

To follow the Perfect Peel, you are given an individual home treatment pack. This pack contains retinol wipes and a vitamin C moisturiser to assist the peeling process and enhance your results.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the perfect peel compare to other peels?

The Perfect Peel combines intense ingredients with effective acids to deliver outstanding results after one treatment. This unique formula allows for an increase in the lifting of fine lines and wrinkles as well as a lightening of Melasma, sun damage and hHyperpigmentation. The Perfect Peel is a non-invasive relatively pain-free treatment that entails only 5-7 days of peeling.

How many treatments for visible improvement?

After one treatment of the Perfect Peel, overall skin tone and complexion will appear smooth, glowing and fresh. Depending on skin conditions, multiple treatments may be necessary for desired results. A series of 2-3 treatments applied once every 4 weeks will allow for optimal results for more severe skin conditions such as Melasma and active acne.

How long will my result last?

As long as the skin is maintained with good quality skin care products such as the Perfect C serum the improved results will last. We recommend two to three treatments of Perfect Peel per year to sustain desired results for regular maintenance and rejuvenation.
