What is Silhouette Soft?
Silhouette Soft® restores skin to give a smoother, more toned finish, as well as a more shapely face. Repositioning of the tissue is instant with Silhouette Soft®, while it also offers a longer-lasting, gradual regeneration of collagen.
The repositioning effect is immediate and discreet
Tissue compression and skin elevation happen when the suture is implanted. After inserting the suture, Dr Kathryn applies slight pressure on the treated area; this reshapes the contours of your face to makes it visibly smoother, immediately.
The regenerating effect is gradual
Poly L-lactic acid (PLLA) is a well-known polymer that has been used for many years in a number of biomedical and pharmaceutical applications: suture thread, orthopaedic pins, rods, screws and nails for bone fractures. PLLA has excellent biocompatibility and is biodegradable making it ideal as the key component of Silhouette Soft®. There are small cones on the sutures, which provide traction and fixation points. Collagen production is reinforced by a natural foreign body reaction, helping to restore lost volume to the face and neck.

How long will the results last?

How soon can I get back to my normal life?
The procedure is quick and you can get back to your full social life with minimal recovery time. You should not wear makeup for the first 24 hours following the procedure, and avoid rubbing or massaging the face when washing, shaving or drying for the first 5 days.
