How it works
The Juvéderm® range has formulations to treat everything from fine lines to deep folds and wrinkles.
Juvéderm® is a hyaluronic acid facial filler which is smooth and long lasting. During your treatment Dr Kathryn will inject the gel under your skin using a fine needle. The gel will fill facial lines and wrinkles or add subtle volume.
The latest innovation is Juvéderm® VOLIFT® with lidocaine, which delivers a natural look and feel and is excellent for smoothing nasolabial folds. Juvéderm® VOLIFT® with lidocaine has an estimated duration of 15 months.
If you are looking to make your skin smooth, soft and toned, Juvéderm® Hydrate™ helps attract and hold moisture within the skin to restore a healthy natural glow. Dr Kathryn can treat your hands, neck, face and décolletage with Juvéderm® Hydrate™, which also features an anti-oxidising agent, helping to prevent the build-up of free radicals in the skin, so the effects of your treatment can be prolonged.
Juvéderm® VOLBELLA® is specifically developed for your lips and mouth area. It can flow easily into the skin for a natural look and feel, while plumping lines, enhancing lip shape, adding definition and reversing drooping at the corners of the mouth.
The Juvéderm® difference
Many moisturisers contain hyaluronic acid, but they only reach the surface. Facial fillers containing hyaluronic acid, such as Juvéderm®, are the only way to replenish the hyaluronic acid deep within skin. Juvéderm® was developed to be a smooth gel, making it easy to inject and giving the face a very natural look and feel once it’s in the skin. An anaesthetic is incorporated into the filler to improve comfort for patients. Juvéderm® wrinkle fillers mimic the lifting effect of your skin’s natural hyaluronic acid to keep the skin hydrated and elastic, with results that can last up to a year.

How does Juvéderm compare to other facial fillers?
The Juvéderm® range provides superior comfort during the wrinkle-injection experience, which means it’s a treatment you can trust to look and feel your best. What should I expect before treatment?
Dr Kathryn will have an in-depth consultation with you to understand your needs and what facial features you would like to enhance. She will explain all the options to make sure that your Juvéderm® wrinkle filler treatment totally satisfies your expectations.
What should I do after treatment?
Dr Kathryn will advise you on your aftercare. You may be advised to stop wearing makeup for up to 12 hours. You may also be told to avoid the sun, as well as saunas and steam rooms, for 2 weeks. Some people experience a little temporary tenderness, swelling or bruising around the injection sites. It is also recommended that you avoid additional treatments in the treated area for the next 7 days.
