What is Desirial?
DESIRIAL® is an injectable hydrogel, exclusively developed to treat women’s intimate area for increased hydration, plumping and remodelling. DESIRIAL® products are designed and manufactured in France by Laboratoires Vivacy.
With patented IPN-Like Technology, DESIRIAL® products are created with stabilised hyaluronic acid and antioxidant mannitol.
What Is DESIRIAL® Composed Of?
Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in the body with the purpose of retaining up to 1000 times its weight in water. It keeps skin hydrated and contributes to the tone and texture.
Because it is soluble in water and has a short half-life, in fillers, hyaluronic acid needs to be cross linked to stabilise the product. Cross linking binds the molecules together to create a gel that lasts for several months.
IPN-LIKE Technology
Vivacy have had a unique and patented IPN-Like technology since 2007. This technology is recognised for efficacy and tolerance in aesthetic and anti-ageing medicine.
IPN-Like technology works to stabilise hyaluronic acid through interpenetration of two monophasic cross-linked networks, giving safe and long lasting results.
Mannitol
The antioxidant mannitol is used in DESIRIAL® products to slow the gel’s degradation in the hours immediately following injection. By hunting the free radicals generated by the penetration of the needle or cannula, mannitol helps to protect the hyaluronic acid molecules for longevity.
