Terms & Conditions
Real You Clinic offers the best and most effective aesthetic treatments, safely administered by a qualified and experienced GP and Aesthetic Doctor, Dr Kathryn Taylor-Barnes.
Below are the terms and conditions on which Real You Clinic provides services to its clients.
SUITABILITY FOR TREATMENT
A consultation is required prior to any treatment, in order to assess its suitability for you and the likelihood of success. In the case that it is not deemed appropriate, the reasons why will be explained to you. If Real You Clinic does not believe a treatment is suitable for you, we will politely decline to treat you.
No guarantee can be given as to the exact results of any treatment as outcomes vary from person to person. Results are dependent on several factors, and these cannot always be predicted. Dr Kathryn Taylor-Barnes ensures every effort is made to give you the best possible results from your treatment. Dr Kathryn attends regular training in order to offer the most up-to-date techniques and uses these alongside what is considered best practise at her clinic, in order to achieve the best possible outcome. Please note there can be no guarantees of the final outcome, and the predicted realistic outcome may be different.
Written consent is required for any treatment. At any time, you may withdraw that consent or terminate your treatment verbally.
APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
All appointments are at your request. If you are unable to attend for any reason, Real You Clinic requires at least 48 hours notice to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Should you miss your appointment or arrive late (15 minutes or more), we will not refund your deposit.
If you are on a course of treatment and miss the appointment or arrive late (15 minutes or more) and the treatment cannot be performed, it will be automatically deducted from the course.
Please also note that out of respect for Dr Kathryn’s time, if you do not attend an appointment or give less than 48 hours or no notice of cancellation, Real You Clinic may decline to offer you any further appointments.
Any photographs taken at your clinic appointment are the property of Dr Kathryn Taylor-Barnes and will be used for patient medical records or educational purposes.
Prices listed on the Real You Clinic website, in brochures, magazines or newspapers and write ups or anywhere else, are to be used as a guide only and will be confirmed at your consultation. All prices are subject to change without notice.
While they are rare, complications can occur with some procedures, particularly if you have higher risk factors. Dr Kathryn Taylor-Barnes will treat any complications to the best of her abilities and knowledge.
Arrangements will be made for you to be treated in the NHS or privately at your own cost, in the very unlikely event of a more serious complication. Medical insurance may not cover any complications arising from cosmetic work, please check with your insurance provider.
Real You Clinic will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.
Prior to each treatment it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide us with all relevant medical details. Real You Clinic will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.
The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of Real You Clinic, regarding the before and after care of a treated area.
Dr Kathryn Taylor-Barnes endeavours to offer appropriate, compassionate and fair treatment of all clients at Real You Clinic.
